Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser for the week:

"Bolinger rode with his captain through the area dominated by student housing. They passed within two blocks of where Marcia Sales was killed and as they did, the captain bitched about the pressure he was going to be under now that another student was dead."
Page 153, The Letter of the Law by Tim Green

This is the first book by this author that I've read. I'm actually quite enjoying it and this happens to be the first book in a series about a female lawyer. Will definitely have to read the next two! I'm such a sucker for a series :)

I also read "Hannah's List" by Debbie Macomber on the weekend. It was a lovely, easy read. Still think that "Twenty Wishes" is her best book. But this was fun.

What are you reading this week?
