Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser for this week:

"I wrote: Lila, call me.
Then I stole their car and drove away."
Page 263, Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child

I know - it's another Lee Child book :) Eventually I will run out of them and have to post from different books. Just can't get enough of Lee Child's character "Jack Reacher" in this series!

  22. I made the mistake of requesting several of Lee Child's books from the library and they never came in the right order. After reading your teasers, I am intrigued. I'm off to reserve just book one. :)

  24. I've heard good things about Lee Child, but never got the chance to read anything by him. Someone once told me that if I liked James Patterson (which I do), that I would like Lee Child. I don't know how true that is, but I'll definitely add him to my TBR!

    I don't think anyone will find them very exciting. hehe
