Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser for this week:
"I wrote: Lila, call me.
Then I stole their car and drove away."
Page 263, Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child
I know - it's another Lee Child book :) Eventually I will run out of them and have to post from different books. Just can't get enough of Lee Child's character "Jack Reacher" in this series!

LOL. It's a great teaser. I can see why you keep going back for more.
ReplyDeleteI made the mistake of requesting several of Lee Child's books from the library and they never came in the right order. After reading your teasers, I am intrigued. I'm off to reserve just book one. :)

Might be a series for me to check into.
ReplyDeleteHave a great June 1st.
My `teaser` is up
I've heard good things about Lee Child, but never got the chance to read anything by him. Someone once told me that if I liked James Patterson (which I do), that I would like Lee Child. I don't know how true that is, but I'll definitely add him to my TBR!
ReplyDeleteTHIEF!!!! lol
ReplyDeleteAwesome!

If you leave a note isn't it more like borrowing the car? Fun teaser! My friend loves these books and has told me I need to read them.
ReplyDeleteI'd post my most recent "teaser" excerpt here, but all I read these days are chemistry manuals. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone will find them very exciting. hehe
I hope you're having a good week!
