My Favorite Ice Cream Place!

We have a wonderful ice cream place that is open from March-Oct every year. Every baseball team goes there after a game, Grandparents bring the grandchildren, boys bring the girlfriend etc. They have the most amazing flavors of ice cream and wonderful treats.

Usually when we go Brad & I will each have a flurry. It's like a Dairy Queen Blizzard. Yummy!! This time I had a Cookies & Cream flurry, but sometimes I'll have a Skor flurry. Brad almost always gets the Clod Hopper one.

While I was eating my flurry I was thinking about what would make a really good one. I'm thinking that it should have chocolate ice cream, chunks of brownie and cherries! What do you think?
What's your favorite ice cream treat?

  2. We used to live near a Dairy Queen and my favorite Blizzard was the pumpkin pie one. They used vanilla ice cream, canned pumpkin and pie crust pieces. It was topped off with whipped cream and cinnamon. So so yummy!!!!!

  3. Your post reminded me that in some places, Dairy Queen isn't open year round :) When I lived in North Dakota, I worked about 10 minutes from the Dairy Queen. We always knew when spring/summer was near when it opened in May and were sad when it closed in October. MMM, now I want a Blizzard!

  4. Pralines & Cream or Butter Pecan, but my most favorite ice cream treat is a Dairy Queen Buster Bar. No Dairy Queens around here. When I travel If I see a DQ in the skyline, I exit and fine it. A buster bar! Yummm!

  8. There's one not too far from me that some years it's open some it's not. It seems to change owners every year for some reason so you never know.
My favorite is Dairy Queens peanut buster parfait. I love those things.
