Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser this week:
"Have you killed people?" Richard asked.
Four in the last three days, I thought.
Page 300 from "Persuader" by Lee Child
I know - it's another Lee Child book, but I'm hooked!! I'm trying to read a book or two between his, but this series about Jack Reacher is really really good! The fact that you don't have to read the series in order is a real plus, seeing as how the library doesn't have them all. I have another 4 on hold at the library for me :)
I did read my first Danielle Girard book - Cold Silence. It was really good too and I will be checking for more of her books. My next book will be Breach of Trust by DiAnn Mills. It's part of her "Call of Duty" series. Also very good reading!
What are you reading this week?
That's quite a tally!
ReplyDeleteMy teaser is here this week.
I have all the books in this series but have never gotten around to reading them, I really must soon! :)
ReplyDeleteOoooo that caught my attention :)

Interesting teaser! I've never read any of Lee Child's works but it sounds like my kind of novel to read =D
ReplyDeleteI am not currently reading anything but blogs! LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
I have a two week break between my Spring and Summer semesters (my last class...woo hoo!) and I just picked up Angelology by Danielle Trussoni on Sunday. I still haven't started it yet but...my teaser...
ReplyDelete"They are winners of a power system they themselves have created. But what they don't have is intellectual prowess..."
Thanks for stopping by. This looks like a good suggestion for a friend of mine.
ReplyDeletequite the teaser and my aunt just recommended the Jack Reacher series to me. thanks for stopping by today.
ReplyDeleteThat explains why the teaser is so good, but don't overload on him. Ever since I ruined an author for myself by reading three of her books back to back I've been cautious.
ReplyDeleteNo no no! I cannot get hooked on any more "new to me" authors until I finish catching up on other prolific authors' backlists. *Resigned sigh* You're going to make me search out at least one of his books, aren't you?
ReplyDelete(Excellent teaser!)
You're really selling this author! I'm convinced!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting! This is a wonderful teaser!
ReplyDeleteOh, now that has me hooked! I'll have to add it to the stacks of books I haven't read yet!!
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to cross that person! Great teaser. I have two this week at The Crowded Leaf.

Ooh great teaser! This one sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is one busy person!
ReplyDeleteSounds like he's had a busy couple of days... ;)
ReplyDeleteMy teaser is at The Eager Readers.
How funny, I was watching Lee Childs on a Book Club TV show last night talking about the different between popular fiction and literary fiction. I am glad that you are enjoying the books, he was an interesting man
ReplyDeleteI watched that too Becky, and it was enough to make me interesting in reading his books, which kind of proved his point!
ReplyDeleteReally great teaser! I haven't read books from any of those authors, but I'll them on my reading list, starting with Lee Child!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Wow - brilliant teaser - I really have to get my act together and read something from Lee Child!
