Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser this week:

"Have you killed people?" Richard asked.
Four in the last three days, I thought.

I know - it's another Lee Child book, but I'm hooked!! I'm trying to read a book or two between his, but this series about Jack Reacher is really really good! The fact that you don't have to read the series in order is a real plus, seeing as how the library doesn't have them all. I have another 4 on hold at the library for me :)

I did read my first Danielle Girard book - Cold Silence. It was really good too and I will be checking for more of her books. My next book will be Breach of Trust by DiAnn Mills. It's part of her "Call of Duty" series. Also very good reading!

What are you reading this week?

  11. That explains why the teaser is so good, but don't overload on him. Ever since I ruined an author for myself by reading three of her books back to back I've been cautious.

  12. No no no! I cannot get hooked on any more "new to me" authors until I finish catching up on other prolific authors' backlists. *Resigned sigh* You're going to make me search out at least one of his books, aren't you?

    (Excellent teaser!)
