Card Making Party!!

My friend Heidi had a card making party last night and invited me!! I'd never been to one before and had no idea what to expect. I don't really know anything about scrapbooking of making cards, but love to look at it and have actually bought some card making magazines.

Well - once I got there I found out we actually get to make cards!! WOOHOO!! I had a blast! It's easy to make cards when someone has everything lined up and ready for you - all you have to do is stamp and glue. It was so much fun, but next time I'm taking my glasses!

These are the two cards we made:

Had to get Heidi to color in the pink flowers on this card (in the circle), because I'd forgotten my glasses.

I was very proud of myself - only spent $3.00 on a catalogue. Of course that means I have more time to look at it and decide what I want (with my glasses on). Hopefully the next time Heidi has a party at her place - she will invite me again!

  1. Very pretty cards!!! You did a great job!

I've only just recently discovered how much fun making cards are too. Now I'm addicted, lol!

Have fun with it and don't be afraid to host your own card making party!! I have an awesome Stampin Up consultant and I'm sure there is one near where you live too!

  3. That sounds like a lot of fun, and you made some really nice cards :)

I hate it too if I forget my glasses - but for me it's more a problem when going to the cinema or if I have to go driving...
