Kelly is the woman behind Keirning, her online Etsy shop. She is from Hilliard Ohio. Kelly also has a Blog where she posts what new and coming, or other crafts she's working on.
#1. How did you decide on your shop name?
I married into the perfect last name and named my shop after that.
#2. When did you start crafting?
Well, I started crafting at sewing at a very young age. My great grandmother, grandma and my mom were all talented at sewing and made a lot of there own clothes. We are just a creative bunch.
#3. What or who inspires you?
I’m inspired by the things I can’t find. I am very picky when it comes to material things and can’t see spending a lot on something I could make myself.
#4. Do you have a day job?
I am a full time graphic designer and only find time at night to sew.
#5. What is the item in your shop you enjoyed making the most and why?
My Shana Bags are named after my sister. She owns more make-up than anyone I know and always needs something to put it all in.
Audrey's Accolades:
Kelly makes amazing bags out of the most wonderful material! The colors and patterns are awesome. I don't have a log of make-up but I do have many many scrunchies & hair clps that just might need a bag. Kelly also has some winter stockings in her shop that you could hang all witner as decoration. You really need to see them! Now - to pick a favorite, hmmmm - it will have to be this stocking, because I love snowmen!
Made with cotton fabrics and a layer of batting
for the warm and cozies.
