Easy Cooking Recipes for Logan

Logan was supposed to learn how to cook during his Grade 12 school year. However he didn't think it was necessary since he thought he would be home and working at the John Deere Dealership here. Since that didn't work out, he's having to learn how to cook by "trial and fire" as he puts it. Hopefully there will be no fire included! :) I'm going to email him the link to his favorite sandwich recipe. Both boys love Double Decker Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. They are amazing with a bowl of soup :)

Do you have some easy recipes for Logan to try? We would love to know about them!

  1. Trial and fire, that's funny. I'll have to give it some thought and see if I can come up with any easy recipes for him. I don't do much cooking anymore since my husband is so fussy I gave up and let him do the cooking

Does Logan have a crock pot?

  4. Before we got married (many years ago), my husband-to-be lived on chili. The kind that comes in the package - you add meat, tomatoes and water. He made a huge pot each week and lasted him throughout the best part of the week. (And inexpensive too.)

  5. When my son got his own apartment, I gave him a cookbook for people (kids) out on their own for the first time! There were several books to choose from at the bookstore. The recipes were simple and used few ingredients. Six years later he is a good cook and has even created his own recipes.

Tacos come to mind for Logan to fix. Just brown the meat, add taco seasoning and build the taco with his favorite stuff.

Cheeseburger caserole. I will email it to you when I have a little more time :-)

Does Logan like pasta? He could try ravioli bake. It's super easy!
