1) A while back I entered a contest to win a wallet and key fob from Sew Faithful. What a wonderful shop!! She uses such lovely bright fabrics, that I couldn't resist buying a set before the give away was even over :) This is what I got.
The little wallet is perfect for business cards for my Etsy shop and also our Boarding Kennel! LOVE them!!
2) Tired a new recipe this week. Chicken is so easy to do and I knew that I wouldn't have hours to make supper. Found this recipe in one of my old cookbooks. Sorry the picture isn't better, but the lighting in the dining room isn't that great in the evenings. As you can see - some of the pieces are missing, the "men" where hungry :)
CHICKEN HURRY
3 lb. chicken pieces
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c ketchup
Mix the last 4 ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350F. Serve with rice (or whatever you like)
3) I found this blog last week and immediately became a follower.
http://springblossomjourney.blogspot.com/.
She posts things that are happening in her life and also beautiful cards that she makes. You really need to check out her SHOP! These cards are simply amazing - some of the most beautiful I've seen on Etsy. Might have to talk to her about a feature :)
4) I have some new give aways on my other BLOG. If you have time please check them out :) A new one is for an Orange Dreamsicle Candle! Yum!! Well - it does look good enough to eat.
5) This week I'm going to be busy cleaning out my craft room. It's the last room in the house that needs to be re-done. Painting 3 walls and the ceiling (after some repairs are done) and paneling the last wall. Luckily I have some friends that just bought a new house (new for them) and purchased way to much paint - so I'm getting 2 gallons for free!! Well, Janet doesn't know that I'm getting them a gift certificate for giving me the paint :) I do have enough click together wood flooring to also do the floor - but we'll have to see how energetic hubby is. Hmmmmm.
How cute!!! When you're through with your craft room, how about coming down here (florida) and doing mine?!? LOL
ReplyDeleteAudry - the chicken dish looks great, and easy! You have GOT to come over on Friday and link up this post to my "Freezer Foods Friday". I've dubbed March "chicken month" !!!
