I used to collect snowmen, but now it seems to be journals, note books, note pads etc. Why? I don't even use that many! But every time I see a cute one on sale I have to get it! My drawer is 1/2 full of brand new paper in all shapes, sizes and colors. But now I've decided to stop buying any paper products until the drawer is empty!! - well - mostly empty :)
Do you have this problem? Or maybe you collect something else and can't seem to stop.

LOL That's what I used to do when I would find craft stuff on clearnace! I quit. It was my New Year's Resolution for 2010. It appears that it will be my same resolution for 2011!

Oh, Audrey, I can so relate!! I have a penchant for paper products, too, and I have that same 'stash'! I suppose there are worse obsessions :)! ~karen
ReplyDeleteI so can relate... I have that problem with B&B products!
ReplyDeleteI love paper pads...I love anything to do with paper!!!...lol...I totally relate to your addiction!!!
ReplyDeleteI also collect things I don't always use....I have tons of threads, embroidery threads, buttons, ribblons, and more threads...did I mention wool, lot's of wool, lot's of crochet hooks, knitting needles, Turkish crochet hooks, tons and tons of stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't get me started on books, I can't help myself when I pass a charity shop, I buy everything they have in English ( I live in Norway ) .
The problem is my house is too small...must move to bigger house ( or warehouse to store my stuff ) ha !
LOL!!!! How timely! Just yesterday I was driving and thinking (sometimes not a good combination) and wondered what it was... me and this love for office supplies!!! I love all the "back to school" sales with each near school season because I just love the notebooks, note pads, and pens!! Love those pens! But not just any pen... blue ink and ultra fine point, and then all the markers!!! It's a sickness! LOL I feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteFabric, ribbon, lace, buttons...it will take over the house one day!!
ReplyDeleteHi Audrey, thanks for bring this up...for me its YARN!
ReplyDeleteI have so much of it that I bet I could knit for a year w/o buying any more but NO....I have been getting more and more...
Which reminds me Joann's sent me a thing saying that today is no shipping...here I go again adding to my yarn...lol...lol
Audrey - what a fun addiction. I love it. I have a book shelf half full of journals "I might use someday". This would be the topic of a great give away.

ReplyDeleteI'm like that with magnetic shopping lists for the fridge :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I collect snowmen too!
I have that problem. I most definitely do. But your stuff is cute so I see why you can't say no!
ReplyDeleteI'm familiar this problem. You do not want to know how many hippos my owner has.
ReplyDeleteanything craft related seems to whisper in my ear the minute I walk in a store. I look at it and think I could probably use that for something...lol I have learned to control the habit somewhat but it's so hard
ReplyDeleteOk, I admit I have a collection of notepads too. Thanks for going first. :-)
