Teaser Tuesday - April 6, 2010

This is my first week joining Teaser Tuesday. I LOVE to read and thought this would be a good meme to join so I had to take time to read every week. Don't want to have a teaser from the same book 2 weeks in a row!

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

" She walked out to her car, taking in the strangeness of this night. Five hours ago, she had thought Emerald's death was probably a suicide after all."

~ P.192, "Trashed" by Alison Gaylin

I just started reading the book - so this is a teaser for me too :) This is the first book from this author that I've read. I also have the next one in this series at home.

**If you are joining Teaser Tuesday, don't forget to go to Should Be Reading
and add your link!

  8. Oh, you picked a good teaser! Now that my spring semester is almost done, I'm hoping to be able to get some "fun reading" in over the summer. Sadly, I have a backup of books I've wanted to read.

  9. I sense big trouble from this teaser Audrey! I also am a Tuesday Teaser newby. This is going to be a great way to find some new titles. Already I see that our tastes in reading are so different. That's great. Thanks for commenting on my book selection.

    P.S. glad you've got another in the series--wouldn't want the excitement to end too soon.
