You may have noticed that I don't have the countdown on the right sidebar anymore. Last Thursday we got a call from Logan saying that Friday would be his last day of work, he was packing up and moving back home.
We had two emails from his boss asking us to try and change his mind - which we had been doing for 2 weeks already. No - we weren't totally surprised, Logan has been very home sick for the last month. We were hoping he would stick it out until Christmas, come home for a break, and feel much better about everything. But that didn't happen.
So Saturday morning at 3:45am he left Brantford Ontario for Home. He drove 14 hours on Saturday, 11 hours on Sunday and was very happy to be home!
I was going to take a photo of him driving up, but it was already dark. Will try to remember to ask them to take a picture of his truck before he unloads it and washes it - it's a mess!!

Awwww, poor Logan! But, at least he's now home! And I'm sure you'll have a lovely Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHe might find something closer to home now!
Well I am happy that he is home!
ReplyDeleteGlad he arrived safely. I know you are supportive in his decision. We just want our kids happy!
ReplyDeletePoor Logan - he went through a lot to reach his decision. A lot of growing up took place in that time, I am sure. What mixd feelings you all must be having along with the joy of being together again.

I guess he just wasn't quite ready to fly that far. I'm glad he's home safely.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, Logan! Now go wash that truck. :D
ReplyDeleteAww, poor Logan. Too bad it didn't work out for him. Guess it was just too soon for such a far move. Enjoy the holidays and afterwards he can figure it all out. Glad he made it home safe
