Well - alright - it's not a real one :( Was in the forums on Etsy one day trying to explain the FirePlace Channel to someone. It starts in November some time and runs until the middle of January I think. You can hear the fire crackling and once in a while you can see a hand/arm put on a new log and stock the fire. Brad likes to have this going Christmas Morning. To bad it doesn't give us any extra warmth though :) I would LOVE a real fireplace some day.
It's not easy taking photo's of a TV - but here is the fireplace on mine.
Do you get the fireplace channel?

But that's amazing!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get that channel over here, though it be great!
I love going to my parents' cottage or my bro's house where we do have proper real fireplaces... there's something to soothing, relaxing and enchanting about watching a burning fire!
Audrey, that is so cute and looks nice, I do not watch TV ( have not had cable for over 11 years now by choice) but that is a great channel to have the option of.
ReplyDeleteActually when we bought our condo last year I never asked for a fireplace, the Lord had different plans, so we have a gas log, its wonderful...you never know what blessings the Lord has in store for you, especially the ones we never know we really want.
Thanks for sharing this post :)
Hahaha - we totally have the yule log!!! We also have I think it's TNT that runs 24 hours of aA Christmas Story - ( my favotrite movie of all time) Drives my husband crazy!!! Happy thursday Audrey thanks so much for the compliments XOXO Patty : )
ReplyDeleteI have heard about that channel! LOL
ReplyDeleteI got an Amish Fireplace from my sister and BIL. Maybe I will take a picture of it and post it today, as I had not thought of anything to post.
Have a wonderful day my lovely friend!

Oh how fun!!!! Big T is going to search for that channel today. I love the fact that someone actually keeps the fire stoked. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

That's really cool. I've never heard of the fireplace channel. We have an electric fireplace and it's nice but it's not quite like the real thing. I would love to have one, always did when I was growing up. Nothing like sitting in front of a fire on a cold winter night.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to have found your blog. Lots of neat posts that I am gonna finish reading. I bought a couple of dvds of logs burning and it says that they crackle and pop like real logs. I didn't know there was a fireplace channel like this. Will have to check.
ReplyDeleteHave a great evening, now off to finish looking around.
