*Where are you from? Tell us a bit about yourself.
I'm from a small town in PA. called Leechburg. I have been married for 36 yrs. to a high school English teacher who also has written many articles for boxing magazines and developed several boxing games. We have two beautiful daughters who live in Raleigh, NC and an absolutely adorable granddaughter. I am an avid animal lover. I have two dogs, Enzo and Tessa, a bunny, Tino and a parakeet, Pepino. I am 100% Italian and have been to Italy several times.
The joy in my life beside my family and animals is my crafting. I have tried almost every type of craft through the years but I most enjoy knitting, crocheting and sewing.
*Where do you craft?
I am lucky to have a laundry/craft room in my home where I do most of my crafting especially the sewing. Knitting and crocheting I enjoy doing while watching TV.
*When did you start crafting?
I actually started crafting when my grandmother showed me how to crochet when I was about 6 yrs. old.
*What’s your supply addiction; is there a specific color or type of supply you just can’t pass up?
I always have several projects going at one time so I don't get bored. I have container after container full of yarn and I keep buying more. I just love the colors and feel of different yarns.
What a wonderful shop! Thanks so much for sharing. I had to giggle at the thought of a boxing dude surrounded by all those lovely animals.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky enough to know 'Miss Kate' personally, and not only is she incredibly talented, she is a wonderful person! Visit her shop and tell your friends. Nothing is more special than a one of a kind, hand made gift.

ReplyDeleteSo the first thing they do is give the child something that is nice. And be sure to include the police station if you choose that for your charity.
ReplyDeleteThere are children in hospitals that have such severe allergies that a bear with a strand or two of pet hair near them could be fatal. So be careful when you give.
