Taco in a Bag

We had this at a fair one time many many years ago.  Sometimes when I have left over taco meat, I'll pick up some small bags of taco chips and we'll have lunch :)  The boys loved it when they were little.

TACO IN A BAG

Small bag of taco chips.
taco meat
chopped tomato
chopped lettuce
grated cheese
taco sauce

Cut the bag of taco chips open on the side. Crunch the chips. Add warm/hot taco meat, tomato, lettuce, cheese and taco sauce. Mix well and enjoy :)
Quick, easy and fun for kids!

  1. Well that's clever! I always dump the chips on a plate, and add chili and cheese. Your idea is portable! Love that!

  2. That has got to be the most clever idea ever. I love it. I also love taco salad and now I know what to do the next time we have leftover taco meat.

  3. Great idea! Sounds like "haystacks", a food we used to eat as kids. Only this is in a bag which is even better.
