Angels

Christmas makes me think of Angels. If I could decorate my whole house with them, I'd be a happy woman :) I found some really great Angels on Etsy, and decided to do a Wish List featuring a few that are my favorites.

JAM JAMS:
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
6 tbsps. syrup
2 cup shortening
2 tsps. soda
1 tsp lemon or vanilla
Flour to roll thin

Mix all ingredients. Add enough flour to roll thin. Then cut and bake at 350F for 12 - 15 minutes. While warm, put together with favorite jam.

Since discovering Give Aways on the net, I've entered a few :) Every now and then I would see one that was sponsored by Carolina Pad and Paper, however they were US only. So being in Canada meant I couldn't enter. I've looked through their site many times admiring their wonderful products that would help me organize my Blog World. Trying to keep track of all the Feature & Give Aways has almost become a part-time job! I have been using a huge desk calendar, but it just doesn't look good or help the office look neat and tidy. The package I received included a 1" binder, One Subject Notebook, Journal, Ideal Book and a Clutch, all from the Sasquatch Collection. They are beautiful! I absolutely LOVE the color scheme, it's not just for girls. Any boy would love these. Sasquatch is macho isn't he?

I also like the fact that everything is ringed. Makes writing much easier. The Journal is the perfect size to fit into my purse, so I can write down all my blogging ideas where ever I happen to be. The Ideal book is beside my computer. It is divided into 3 sections by 2 plastic tabbed dividers, perfect -> one section for each of my blogs! It also has 1 double sided pocket. The clutch is also beside the computer, holding 3 pens, a clicker pencil, white out ez correct and 2 highlighters with room for more. The binder is in the Kitchen, will keep all the recipes I print in it. Just have to get some dividers yet.

The day after I received the package with the Sasquatch items I got another package with items from the Kendal Collection: One Subject Notebook, Journal, Planner and a Pen! Again - Amazing!! The Planner is wonderful. It's a 19 month planner with a calendar at the beginning of each month and lots of room to write on each day of the week. The pen was used to write the review, before I typed it. The pen doesn't just look wonderful, it works really well, writes smoothly. These are so pretty I don't have to worry about hubby or the boys wanting them!

There is only one drawback to owning products from Carolina Pad and Paper. Now I want to buy something from each series! Oh dear. LOL They do have a long list of stores that carry their products on their website. I do need a new desk calendar and they have some really lovely ones.
